Modelacion de operación en carreteras argentinas y recomendaciones de ajustes al manual de capacidad HCM2010

El Manual de Capacidad HCM de los EEUU constituye el documento principal para el análisis operacional de carreteras bidireccionales en Argentina. La aparición de la versión del Manual de Capacidad HCM 2010 (TRB, 2010) introduce modificaciones relevantes abandonando la metodología de análisis bidireccional y ampliando el alcance de situaciones contempladas en la operación de carreteras. No obstante, utiliza parámetros que no se han verificado para las condiciones locales, principalmente en lo que se refiere a comportamiento de conductores y características de parque automotor, lo cual puede derivar en diferencias que afecten decisiones de obras de aumento de capacidad basadas en un análisis inadecuado. A partir de estudios de campo y la utilización de un modelo de simulación microscópico, se proponen nuevos modelos de relación entre variables fundamentales velocidad – flujo y porcentaje de tiempo en seguimiento – flujo, así como nuevos valores de factores de ajuste por tipo de terreno y presencia de vehículos pesados. Con estos nuevos modelos y factores de ajuste se establecen una serie de recomendaciones para la aplicación de la metodología propuesta en el HCM 2010 adaptada a rutas de Argentina.
